STATIONERY SET BOXES

BARNES & NOBLE | PAPER SOURCE Packaging Design, Typography, Print Production

Designed to complement the stationery within, these boxes use elements from the cards to create a unified and polished look. The result is packaging that feels as thoughtful and creative as the stationery itself.

I designed and managed the production of each box in this stationery set collection. Each box was designed so that it could be used as a decorative or keepsake box. So, I made a bellyband that displays thumbnails of each card along with any additional information necessary rather than having it printed on the back of the box.

I pulled various art elements from individual cards to reflect onto the lid and base of the box. With this, each box is uniquely different and caters towards a wide range of interests from elegant, traditional, modern, to trendy.

Notice the lack of plastic? We carry a lot of stationery sets packaged in plain, plastic boxes with a printed marketing piece placed on the back. With this set, we were able to fully avoid plastic by designing into lidded and hinged paper boxes.
